RENO, Nev. (Dec. 15, 2025) — Speed appears to have been a factor in a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on McCarran Boulevard west of Kietzke Lane on Saturday afternoon, according to the Reno Police Department.
The crash happened at approximately 2:13 p.m. on Dec. 13. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision. Police said the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
McCarran Boulevard at Kietzke Lane was impacted westbound until about 6:45 p.m. The identity of the deceased remains withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
In addition to the police, the Reno Fire Department and REMSA responded to the scene.
