RENO, Nev. (Dec. 22, 2025) — Reno police are asking for the public’s help in locating an endangered woman who was last seen Sunday in the area of Silverada Boulevard.
The Reno Police Department reported that officers responded to a call regarding a missing person on Dec. 21. The woman, identified as Shellie Vickers, is considered endangered due to her mental health.
Vickers is a Black woman standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has braided hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black-and-white Raiders knit cap, a pink fuzzy jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Authorities urge anyone who may have seen Vickers or has information about her whereabouts to contact the Reno Police Department’s non-emergency line at 775-334-2677. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Secret Witness by calling 775-322-4900, texting 847411 (keyword: SW), or submitting information online.
