The Old Blog in the Desert

Beavers react to the sound of
Running water by building dams.
It is an urge so ingrained that
They’ll pile wood atop a speaker
Should it sounds like a stream.
That’s how I am with writing;
I constantly hear running water
As it pours through my soul
Filtered, pure and refreshing.
