Remaining True to Self

Simply put: I refuse to engage in rumor-mongering. Someone can say all the nasty things they want about me – but I will not return the favor.

Recently, I went for job interview and discovered I am being ‘bad mouthed’ by another person. When I was asked to ‘explain’ my side of the story, I responded with, “Let’s jus’ say neither of us is perfect, and much of it comes down to a personality conflict.”

Needless to say, I didn’t get the job. C’est la vie.
