Reno Police arrested a 26-year-old man accused of stalking a woman for months following a brief relationship, using multiple phone numbers, social media accounts, and enlisting help to leave items such as tarot cards at her locations.
Keaton Busch was taken into custody at his workplace without incident and now faces multiple felony charges in connection with the alleged stalking campaign that began in November 2025. According to police, the victim reported ongoing harassment after the short relationship ended.
She received unwanted phone calls and messages from unknown numbers, and items, including tarot cards, were repeatedly left on her car and at other locations over several months.
Detectives allege that Busch, with the assistance of a second female suspect, coordinated the acts by using multiple phone numbers and fake social media accounts to contact the victim and arrange for the items to be left. Busch was also reportedly seen near the victim’s vehicle on multiple occasions.
During the investigation, the victim obtained a stalking and harassment protection order. However, police say Busch later had the order dismissed by providing fake or misleading information to the court.
Busch faces charges of stalking in the first offense, violation of a stalking and harassment protection order, false reporting of a crime, forgery of computer data, uttering a forged instrument, offering false evidence, and perjury. He was booked into the Washoe County Jail.
The second suspect has not been named or arrested at this time.
