Reno Police Issue Nearly 90 Citations

The Reno Police Department issued 88 citations and 49 warnings during pedestrian safety enforcement operations conducted last month.

According to a department release, eight officers carried out the operations in designated Pedestrian Safety Zones in the downtown area, as well as in other locations with high foot traffic. Police say the operations targeted both drivers and pedestrians who were violating laws intended to improve safety.
