An armed and barricaded individual was taken into custody Tuesday evening following an incident in Elko, according to police.
The situation unfolded in the area behind Elko Motor. Authorities called in a SWAT team to assist in resolving the incident.
Police did not immediately release additional details about the circumstances leading up to the standoff or whether any injuries were reported.
