Attorney Appointed to Nevada Gaming Commission

Las Vegas attorney Richard Schonfeld was appointed Tuesday to the Nevada Gaming Commission, Gov. Joe Lombardo’s office announced. Schonfeld’s term is to begin April 28.

The Nevada Gaming Commission plays a central role in the state’s gaming industry, overseeing licensing, regulatory, and disciplinary matters for Nevada’s largest economic sector.

Schonfeld is a partner at the high-profile law firm of David Chesnoff. The pair formed the partnership in 2001.
