Nevada Adds More Than 11,000 Active Voters

Nevada’s voter rolls grew by 11,622 active registered voters in February compared with January, according to the latest report from the Nevada Secretary of State’s office.

The statewide total now stands at 2,140,380 active registered voters.

The increase was driven by nonpartisan voters, rising by 12,517 during the month. Democratic registration grew by 172 voters, while Republican registration declined by 1,144.

According to the secretary of state’s latest figures, 811,573 of Nevada’s active voters are registered as nonpartisan. Republicans account for 595,212 registered voters, while Democrats account for 593,912 registered voters.

The Independent American Party has 90,514 registered voters statewide, while the Libertarian Party of Nevada has 14,990 members. Over 34 thousand voters have registered with other minor political parties.

Nonpartisan voters remain the largest bloc of registered voters in the state, outnumbering both major political parties.
