A 26-year-old Los Angeles man died Friday following a ski accident at Northstar Ski Resort, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the resort after receiving a report of a serious accident on the advanced Martis Trail run. When emergency personnel arrived, the skier, identified as Nicholas Kenworthy, had already been pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released details regarding what led up to the accident. The incident remains under investigation.
