Earthquake Reported Near Gerlach

An earthquake was reported near Gerlach on Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The 2.0 magnitude quake struck at approximately 2:30 p.m., with its epicenter located about 20 miles west of Gerlach. Seismologists initially recorded the event as a 1.9 magnitude quake before later upgrading it to 2.0.

No damage or injuries reported.
