Police Investigate Fatal Incident in Home

A man and woman were found injured and later died in a southwest Las Vegas home early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded around 7:20 a.m. to a home on Rowland Avenue, near W. Mountains Edge Parkway and S. Durango Drive, following a 911 call from a young child who reported that his mother was hurt.

Authorities are awaiting search warrants to reenter the home and continue their investigation. The child, described as younger than 10, is currently in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Police have not released the identities of the deceased, who were said to be in their late 20s or early 30s, nor the nature of their relationship.
