Man Arrested After Bomb Threat

Stateline, Nev. — A South Lake Tahoe man was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly making a bomb threat against Harrah’s Casino in Stateline.

Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded just before 10:00 p.m. Monday after casino staff reported a call in which the suspect, identified as Seth Maybee of South Lake Tahoe, was involved.

He reportedly said, “Yeah, I just lost over $20,000 at your stupid casino, and I am going to destroy it now. I am going to bomb it. This is a bomb threat.”

Maybee was taken into custody by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at his home around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. He has been charged with making a bomb threat and making terroristic threats and is in the El Dorado County Jail.
