Carson City FD Reports 2025 Year-End Totals

Carson City, Nev. — The Carson City Fire Department responded to nearly 12,000 calls for service in 2025, including 9,485 emergency medical service (EMS) calls.

Firefighters also battled 24 structure fires throughout the year. The department noted that Friday was the busiest day for calls, with 3 p.m. being the peak time of day. Rescue 52 was the busiest apparatus, responding to more calls than any other unit.

The department also says six babies were born over the year with assistance from firefighters.
