HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Nev. (Dec. 24, 2025) — Three people were arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Humboldt County, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies, working alongside the Trident Narcotics Task Force, stopped a vehicle on Grass Valley Road on Thursday. During the stop, a K9 unit conducted a sniff of the automobile, which resulted in a positive alert.
Authorities say a subsequent search of the car uncovered a large quantity of methamphetamine and a loaded handgun. Authorities arrested all three people in the vehicle.
Later that day, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Winnemucca. Police say they discovered additional methamphetamine inside the home, including approximately 142 grams of the drug.
