BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. (Dec. 23, 2025) — A magnitude 4.05 earthquake shook north-central Nevada Tuesday night, according to the Nevada Seismological Laboratory.
The quake occurred just before 8 p.m., approximately 32 miles north of Battle Mountain and 43 miles east-northeast of Winnemucca.
Officials have not yet reported any damage or injuries resulting from the earthquake.
