MINDEN, Nev. (Dec. 12, 2025) – A 9-year-old girl reported missing Friday morning in Douglas County has been found safe, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Deputies discovered an unattended scooter along Highway 395 near the Silver City RV Park just after 7 a.m. on Friday. Authorities confirmed the child was safe at 11:30 a.m.
MCSO has not released details regarding her disappearance. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities thanked the public for any assistance in locating the girl.
