Parah Adumah

A solar eclipse, NASA firing three rockets towards the sun, activation of CERN, a Devil Comet, and Israel preparing a cow sacrifice.

Oh, you had not heard of the Devil Comet?

According to NASA, a comet known as the “devil comet” is expected to pass by Earth for the first time in 71 years. Officially named 12P/Pons-Brooks, the cryovolcanic comet is the “devil comet” because of two “horns” made from ice and gas, with periodic explosions and will be visible until mid-June.

With so many events converging on or around Monday, April 8, one needs particular scrutiny, and that is the parah adumah.

“The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: “The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Here is another legal requirement commanded by the Lord: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer, a perfect animal that has no defects and has never been yoked to a plow.” (Numbers 19:1–2, 10)

Parah adumah, “red heifer” in Hebrew, are quietly grazing in a secure, undisclosed location in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. To comprehend the significance, one must journey back nearly 2,000 years to the tumultuous history of the Middle East, marked by the destruction of the last Temple in Jerusalem by the ancient Romans.

For some Jews and Christians, they represent more than just cattle, as they are the linchpin to rebuilding the Temple, heralding the coming of the Messiah.

“The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. ” John 2:18–22

The Temple Institute of Jerusalem, which runs the Raise a Red Heifer program, announced, “On the 17th day of Elul, 5778, (Tuesday, August 28, 2018,) a red heifer was born in the land of Israel. The red heifer candidate is being raised and specially cared for under the auspices of the Temple Institute’s ‘Raise a Red Heifer’ program. If it remains without blemishes it could be used in a re-established Temple service.”

The red heifer was certified by a board of rabbis as meeting all the Biblical requirements one week after its birth. The rabbis emphasize that the heifer could become unsuitable if it acquired a blemish, so they continually inspect the calf to verify its condition.

Whether or not you adhere to any religious beliefs, the significance of the Jewish Messiah prophecy resonates deeply in these troubled times. Its fulfillment, whether real or symbolic, heralds a grim fate as attempting to deceive God is deadly because Jesus is the Temple.

Remember, I’m no prophet — I’m just a dot connector. The rest is up to you.
