Transgender weightlifter Vicki Piper’s recent win at the Masters National Championships in Reno, Nev., has ignited another debate over the integrity of women’s sports.
His dominance in the competition, outscoring his female counterparts by lifting 123.5 pounds in the snatch and 156.5 pounds in the clean and jerk, has drawn praise and condemnation, with critics questioning the fairness of allowing transgender athletes to compete in women’s events.
For comparison, the men’s record for the clean and jerk is 588 pounds, while the snatch is 496 pounds. Despite the vast difference in the numbers, Piper’s achievement was being called a milestone for transgender athletes on social media.
However, others argue against transgender participation in women’s sporting events. Letting natural-born males compete in women’s sports undermines the hard-won gains of female athletes and perpetuates inequalities in athletic achievement.
Piper’s victory has reignited calls for stricter regulations and guidelines governing transgender participation in female sports. Piper and his ilk are failed male competitors whose damaged egos make them claim to be fake females to dominate a sport none of them could win as a man.
What a bunch of fucking cheating, mentally ill soy boys.
