Reno Rally for Palestine a Sheepeople Fest

Dozens of protesters gathered at the Bruce R. Thompson Federal Courthouse for the Reno Rally for Palestine, calling for the support of Palestinians in Gaza, as Israeli forces engage in counterattacks against Hamas, after the terror group murdered 1,700 people and kidnapped a couple of hundred others, including Americans, on Saturday, October 7.

While I was there to observe, I asked some of the attendees questions.

The crowd began gathering around 3 p.m. on Friday, October 20, and swiftly grew to a gathering of about 100 people chanting, “From the river to the seas, Palestine will be free.” At least four times, I asked different attendees what the chant meant, and each had a different answer, but none knew the correct answer.

Hamas, the organization that controls Gaza, is classified as a terrorist group, and it wants to eliminate all Jews and destroy Israel between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

The other question I asked was: where is historic Palestine located? Again, no one could tell me, nor could they tell me the name of the river or the sea they were chanting about.

While I have provided the answer to the first question, the second is that there is no historical Palestine and there never has been. And like mindless sheepeople, they marched to the Believe sign in the Reno City Plaza before returning to the courthouse in the evening to protest more, though they did not understand what they were chanting for.
